Patient Positioning
Patient seated on a revolving stool, arm in slight internal rotation. Elbow flexed (90°), palm up.
Probe Positioning
On the top of the shoulder in a coronal plane over the acromioclavicular joint. Shift the probe medially and dorsally over the suprascapular notch.




Note: Doppler hepls you to identify the artery and the nerve nearby. The suprascapular nerve passes through the notch on its course over the scapula to the dorsal shoulder.
