Patient Positioning
Patient lies supine, leg externally rotated, knee 20-30 flexed.
Probe Positioning
Place the transducer on a oblique plane in orientation of the medial collateral ligament over the femoro tibial joint.
note: in degenerative osteoarthritis osteophytes and loss of joint space are seen
