Patient Positioning
Patient supine, leg may be in slight external rotation.
Probe Positioning
Place the transducer on oblique longitudinal planes over the femoral neck and head. Lower ultrasonic frequencies may be necessary.
Note: Patient with acetabular labral tear and paralabral cysts in the hip with chronic hip pain.
