Patient Positioning
Patient lies supine with a small pillow under the dorsal aspect of lower limb.
Probe Positioning
Place the transducer on a transverse and later longitudinal plane over the area of interest.
Note: Patient with sarcoidosis and painful skin changes, clinically diagnosed as erythema nodosum. The ultrasound shows a panniculitis with edema and increased doppler signal.
