Patient Positioning
Patient lies supine with a small pillow under the dorsal aspect of the ankle or patient may seat on the examination table, knee flexed and the plantar surface of the foot on the table.
Probe Positioning
Place the transducer on a longitudinal plane over the tendon and perform the injection in plane.
Injection is performed in plane into the tendon sheath of the tibialis anterior tendon.
