Patient Positioning

Patient lies prone, foot hanging out of the examination table.

Probe Positioning

Place the transducer on a transverse plane over origin of the plantar fascia. Perform the injection in plane from medial or lateral.

note: Perform the injection in plane from lateral or medial directly to the inflammed origin of the plantar fascia.
