Patient Positioning
Patient seated facing the examiner with extended arm, palm up. The arm is resting comfortably on the examination table. Placing a pillow under the elbow leads to full extension of the joint.
Probe Positioning
Place the transducer on a tranverse plan over the distal biceps muscle and move distally. Then rotate the probe longitudinally to the distal biceps tendons. Then, use “Cobra positon” to scan the distal biceps tendons insertion dynamically during supination and pronation.

Note: effusion closed to the distal biceps tendons insertion in a patient with bursitis
Note: scanning the distal biceps tendons insertion dynamically in "Cobra position" during supination and pronation in a patient with enthesionpathy / tendinopathy.
